PRT 350- “Princesses of Hope 3: White Horses”

After Nemesis took off with Astrid I rushed back to base. I gathered up the others.
“Alex, what’s wrong?” Katie asked.
“Astrid was kidnapped.” I said.
“What, kidnapped? By who?” Trip asked.
“Sailor Nemesis.”
“Who’s that?” Nadira asked, she was the Pink Time Force Ranger since Jen stayed in the past.
“Princess of the Planet Nemesis. She was destroyed in 2009 according to our database, however she’s messing with the timeline by showing up here. My best guess is that she took Astrid to 2009.” I explained.
“Why kidnap Astrid?” Lucas asked.
“I don’t know, and it doesn’t really matter. We’re going back in time to find her.”
“Great idea, except you’re assuming that Nemesis took her back to 2009. Until you figure out exactly where she is it’s too dangerous to go back.” Katie said.
“Not to mention we’ve been seeing a rise in crime lately. The city can not be without a Time Force presence. We can’t all go.” Lucas said.
“You’re right. Trip, think you can help me figure out where Astrid is?” I asked.
“I’ll try.” Trip said.
We set to work and with some help from circuit we figured out that Astrid was indeed in 2009, however she wasn’t the only missing link in the timeline. From as far back as the 14th century things were being altered.
“This is really bad.” Trip said.
“Princesses are missing from all throughout the timeline.” I said.
Trip nodded, “We have to get them back to their rightful time before the course of Earth is changed forever.”
“But Lucas is right, Time Force is needed here.”
“Hmm…well, where there’s a princess there is usually a prince…”
“You mean gather the princes to help save the princesses.”
“Exactly.”
“You’re a genius Trip. Do we know what princes I need to go get?”
“Give me a second and I’ll have that figured out…ok, from the 14th century you need Prince Aladdin, from the 15th century you need Prince Charming…”
“Are you kidding me?”
“Seriously, that’s his name.”
“Oh dear god.”
“Can I continue?”
“Of course.”
“From the 16th century you need Prince Ferdinand, from the 17th Prince Adam, from the 18th Prince Philip, the princes you need from the 21st century are already there, and while I see Princess Mandalin was taken from the 22nd century, I also see her prince, Flynn, is needed by a Power Ranger team. According to Ranger history this is the time period Venjix was fought by the RPM team.” Trip finished.
“If the RPM team is down one Ranger they can’t afford another…not with Venjix. I’ll leave Flynn in his time and return Mandalin to him when we rescue her. Now then, I think I’m ready to go. A time ship should be waiting…”
“Good luck Alex.”
“Thanks Trip.”
I grabbed a bag and headed out to the time ship. It was time to go prince hunting.

After Nemesis took Michelle and Serena Mistress 9 retreated.
“It was a trap!” Jupiter cried, infuriated.
“This is bad.” Mercury said.
“Thank you Sailor Obvious.” Mars snapped.
“This isn’t the time for that.
I went to RJ’s apartment and knocked. He answered the door.
“Mina, what’s wrong?” he asked.
“Can I come in?” I asked.
“Of course.”
I went in and waited until he closed the door, “Michelle and Serena have been captured. Nemesis got them.”
“What? Oh god…”
“We need your help. Do you think you can track them?”
“Maybe. Tracking MJ will be easier because I have her power signature stored in my computer.”
“Right, but remember, she’s not a Ranger right now.”
“I know, but her Amethyst still emits a unique power signature.” RJ said.
I nodded, “OK.”
“We need to get to the loft. That’s where all my equipment is.”
“OK, I need to go get

“Adam, hey…don’t wait up for me.”

I was sitting in the hotel bar sipping a soda when my phone rang.
“Hello?”
“Amara, it’s me…we have a big problem.” Michele said.
“What’s wrong?”
“Michelle and Serena are gone.”
“Gone?”
“Nemesis kidnapped them.”
“Oh god…”
“There’s more. Nemesis was tampering with the timeline…and we need you home now.”
“Whoa…why didn’t you call me sooner?”
“We thought we could handle it.”
“Great…I’ll be home soon as I can.” I said hanging up.
“Problem?” Ronny asked. She and Hunter were sitting at a table nearby me.
“I don’t have time for this right now.” I said as I started to head out.
“Hey, what’s going on? Seriously…is it Nemesis?”
I nodded, “Yeah. She’s messing with the timeline or something and evidently kidnapped Serena and Michelle.”
“What? Nemesis has Michelle?” Hunter asked.
“Yes, and considering Michelle and Serena are all that
stands between Nemesis and the Amethyst and

“Yeah, stay out of my way.” I said as I pushed past them. I needed to get home fast.

I was really upset by the news that Michelle was taken. I
had tried really hard to just let her be and let her handle herself…but this
was different. If Nemesis had Michelle then this was life threatening.
Michelle’s life was on the line and I couldn’t just sit here and do nothing
now. In spite of everything a part of me would always love
“…Hunter, are you even listening to me?” Ronny said as she waved her hand in front of my face.
“Oh, sorry baby. I spaced.” I said.
“You’re concerned about Michelle…”
“Yeah, of course…and the fate of the world if Nemesis gets that gemstone.”
“Then go back to LA.”
“Seriously?”
“Yes. This qualifies as Ranger business at this point I think. Obviously the Sailors can’t handle this on their own. Maybe we should both go back.”
“No! I mean…Michelle would have a shit fit if she saw and Overdrive Ranger. Besides, you have your race. Amara already went back. It won’t look good if the only two women in NASCAR bail at once.” I said.
“Hmm, I guess you’re right. I don’t like the idea of you going back alone.”
“It’ll be fine. RJ and Adam will be there I’m sure so I won’t be the only Ranger.”
“Well, that’s true. OK. Let me know when you find her.”
“I will. I promise.”
“OK. And be careful. I love you.”
“I love you too baby.” I said as I kissed her goodbye and
headed out. I felt kinda bad leaving her like
this…but it wasn’t like I was lying. She knew where I was going and she seemed
ok enough with it. Ok so she didn’t know I was going because I still loved

I had some time to stew in the anger, now I realized that I needed to lead these girls if we had a prayer of getting out of here.
“OK, so, I know my fellow Saturn princesses have powers, what about you girls. Do any of you have any magical powers of your own?” I asked.
“Not really, unless you count being able to converse with sea creatures.” Ariel said.
“I have a strange connection with animals.” Cinderella said.
“So do I.” Aurora and Snow echoed.
“Great, so we have a group of Doctor Dolittles.” I said.
“What?”
“Never mind. Can any of you fight?”
Jasmine nodded, “I can fight pretty well.”
“I can too if I have to.” Belle said.
Ariel nodded, “Same here.”
“Why would a girl want to fight? That’s what princes are for.” Snow said.
“Oh dear god.” I sighed.
“Is this girl for real?” Mandy asked.
“Girl, you better learn to fight your own battles if you want to make it out of this.” Astrid said.
“They’re right. I want to get out of here, we need to do
whatever it takes.”
“Any ideas?” Serena asked.
“I can’t blast out of here. I already tried.” Mandy said.
“Nemesis will come back eventually. Maybe we can over power her.” Astrid said.
“You’re assuming she comes back.” I said.
“She will. If for no other reason to brag about her victory. They always do.” Mandy said.
“Good point.”
“Until then, let’s just relax.”
“Easy for you to say.” Belle said.
“Seriously, we’ll get out of here. We have to.”

I was really intent on trying to track MJ down when I noticed another strange reading. I had to go check it out. It was some unidentified object and that is the last thing we needed.
I went to where the reading was coming from and found a space ship. I was looking around it when the door opened and several men stepped out.
“Who are you?” I asked, taking a fighting stance.
“Robert James? Violet Wolf Ranger?” one of the men asked.
“Yeah…how did you know that?”
“History books. I’m Alex Drake, Red Time Force Ranger, from the year 3009.”
“You guys are from the future?”
“Only me. The rest of these guys are from the past. Prince Philip, Prince Adam, Prince Charming, Prince Eric, Prince Aladdin, and Prince Ferdinand…” Alex introduced.
“Riiight. Ok.” I said.
“Look at this place…it’s like something from a novel.” Prince Adam said.
“OK, I told you guys this place would be different. We need to hide you guys until we fill Robert in.” Alex said.
“Please, call me RJ…and follow me. We need to get you guys to the loft.” I said.
I got the princes to the loft and on the way Alex filled me in about Nemesis taking off with the other princesses as well.
“What does Nemesis want with all those princesses?” I asked.
“I’m not sure, but we have to save them.” Alex said.
“Do we know where they are?” Aladdin asked.
I shook my head, “Not yet. I’m working on it. I suspect they are probably all together so if I can track MJ I can find the others too.”
“Try tracing the Silver Crystal too.”
“I don’t have the power signature of the Silver Crystal.”
“I do.” Amy said.

“Oh please. You’re not needed here. We have plenty of help.”
“Looks like a bunch of princes to me. Michelle needs her prince too.”
“You’re right…and that’s me…her husband.”
Hunter rolled his eyes, “Whatever, you may be her husband but she’ll always see me as her prince…the love of her life.”
“Just get out of here. You’re assistance hasn’t been requested and isn’t required.”
“I’m not going anywhere.”
“This loft is getting a bit crowded.”
“Guys, enough. I have a feeling we’ll need all the help we can get to get the girls back.” Alex said.
“I’m only here to help.” Hunter said
“Fine.” I mumbled. I looked over and saw Philip and Ferdinand looking at the TV like it was an alien.
“What is this box?” Ferdinand asked.
“How does it have a moving picture?” Philip added.
“That’s a TV. It takes signals from the air and shows the pictures on the box.” I tried to explain.
“This land is so strange. Did you see the carriages moving without horses?” Eric asked.
“Those are cars.”
“Can we have the technology 101 lesson later? Like after we track down Nemesis?” Hunter asked.
“I have an idea, why don’t you go look for them. Anywhere. Just go.” I said.
“No way. I’m staying right here in case you trace the Amethyst.”
I sighed. This was going to be a long day.
